Do you watch porn or indulge in sexual activities frequently? You might reach a point where you'd probably ask yourself, "Am I an addict or do I have a sexual disorder?" There is a thin line between hypersexuality and sex addiction. Indulging in frequent sexual activities or watching too much porn cannot necessarily be called a hypersexual disorder. Sexual health expert, Dr Vijaysarathi Ramanathan says, "Some people get conditioned to certain sexual behaviours, and they have to engage in that particular sexual act. Be it watching excessive porn, masturbating or engaging in highly risky sexual acts like unprotected sex. Also, masturbating on a daily basis has no health consequences and doing so should not be mistaken for a hypersexual disorder". Like every other disorder, this too, has symptoms that you must look out for.
